New Grade 8 Referee Certification Course
Central Valley youth soccer will host a new referee certification course March 19, from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at Central Valley High School. You must be at least 14 years old to register for this course, you must have several security clearances and some online coursework completed in advance of the March 19 classroom course. Completing this course will allow you to referee Central Valley Youth Soccer travel matches, as well as U10 and higher recreational matches. Although we hope you can attend our event at CVHS, other classes are available across the district at various times and places.
New Recreational Referee Clinic
Central Valley youth soccer will host a new recreational referee clinic March 19, from 2 PM until 3 PM at the concession stand near our Center Grange fields. You must be at least 12 years old to attend this course, and completing it will allow you to referee Central Valley Youth Soccer recreational matches for the U5, U6, and U8 age groups. Attendance is free, and more details concerning referee requirements (responsibilities, required equipment, etc.) will be discussed at the clinic.

Field Marshalls Needed!
Are you a Certified Referee looking for service Hours to apply toward your NHS application or Senior Project? If so, why not spend some time mentoring our Club’s younger referees to help them become more comfortable and more effective working our in-house matches? Scheduling is very flexible, and will not interfere with scheduled matches you may be working on any given Saturday. Take us up on this great opportunity to stay involved with our youth program and take a lead role in the process!
